On 22 May, Airsweb opened the doors to its clients for an Open Day to celebrate completion of the office refurbishment in Rainhill, Liverpool. As part of the event, clients attended a half-yearly update in the new seminar/training room, and were treated to a buffet reception and post-update drinks. It was also a chance for some peer to peer networking, and the opportunity to wander around and meet more of the Airsweb team. My Airsweb V2.0 and the new eLearning platform were key talking points, following successful demonstrations by James Brown and Mark Godwin. Rob Leech, Product Director, was also on hand to give all clients who attended the chance to see what was next on the roadmap for Airsweb, including the opportunity for an advanced demonstration of Airsweb' forthcoming "Safe Travel" module. Finally, the Open Day turned its attention to the Airsweb User Group; An independent governance committee invested in improving airsweb®, giving them the opportunity to explain about the upcoming User Conference taking place November 13-14. Speaking after the event, Mark Swithenbank, Managing Director said: "It was great to see so many people turning up, and more encouraging that people were staying after normal hours to talk about our full range of QHSE software solutions".
