Airsweb AVA Client Reports 50% Increase in Incident Reporting and Rolls Out AVA App

GKN Wheels & Structures, the worlds’ leading manufacturer of off-highway wheels and structural assemblies joined Airsweb last year and in that time have reported a 50% increase in incident reporting.

Their goal was to introduce a powerful Environmental, Health & Safety reporting platform that enabled and empowered their teams to record and analyse data across multiple platforms.

As part of their EHS vision, they embraced new and accessible digital tools to enable everyone to raise and record incidents, so they introduced Airsweb Swift – a responsive web app that is as simple as filling in a form.

Andy Jones, HSE Coordinator and AVA System Administrator at GKN Wheels & Structures, Telford commented, “When I heard about Swift, I thought it could replace the existing T-Card system that was in use on site.  The existing system was very manual, labour intensive, and more importantly not effective at capturing near miss and hazard identification data. QR codes are displayed in safe areas which allows anyone to report a near miss or hazard identification through the Swift system, directly onto AVA thorough their smart phones.

Feedback from employees is that the solution is simple and allows for easy reporting and since implementing Swift, near miss and hazard identification reporting has increased by over 50% (vs. same period in 2019) and is being rolled out across other areas of the GKN Wheels & Structures business.”
