QHSE leading software company Airsweb, have released their Permit to Work modular software solution to the general market, following a successful pilot programme with world leading glass manufacturer NGF Europe.
Airsweb® Permit to Work enables full management control of potentially hazardous tasks. A key feature of the software solution is it's capability to create specific job templates for tasks such as working in heat, confined spaces, and manage the conditions necessary for working at height.
The pilot went live in 2012 to coincide with a major NGF construction project in Lea Green, an environment suited to the solution's core functionality.
Paul Shacklady, EHS Manager at NGF Europe recently commented on the outcome of the pilot: "“We went live with the module in 2012 just in time for a major CDM (construction, design and management) project at Lea Green,” explained Paul. “The Permit to Work module proved an asset in controlling large amounts of contractors across a host of disciplines. We are currently in the throes of developing the Permit to Work module further to include a contractor database."
In addition to the launch of Permit to Work, Airsweb have improved and re-launched "My Airsweb" as "Airsweb Analytics"; A user-specific, self-service dashboard with enhanced business intelligence functionality. Airsweb Analytics was successfully demonstrated to existing clients at the Open Day in May.
